You shoud be able to desig every bit, from the materials to the finer details. Texture, engravings, shape, weight, everything should bend to your desires.

i want to see how i looke in them before i have a prescription lens. squinting close to the mirror doesnt quite give the right perspective!
I actually found a company that is trying to do this at http://oyoglasses.com/. They haven't launched yet, but it will be interesting to see what kind of quality they can get from the designs. I'm not sure how they will do it exactly
hum... that sounds like something we might get 20 years from now, when we might be able to 3d print in specific matierials with specific strengths. and finer detail.
