I see a day when you can feed in your measurements, choose or even design your own garment & fabric - et voila

I saw this really cool project for the homeless on http://www.shelter20.com/ and it got me to think about flat pack housing. How cool would that be to build your own house. Then I thought how about something smaller like a camper shell for my truck, my only problem is my laser bed is 12" x 24" and really I can only cut 1/4" thick wood. So yeah a slice form camper shell!

I would love an app that let's us jewelry makers and designers connect and share. Educational and inspirational.

While I understand this is probably unlikely to happen any time soon, it would be nice...

A shelving/storage system that can expand with simple components and is parametrically adjustable to the components I need. Shelving and boxes reconfigure easilly and the system grows as I need it. Have components for doors, shelves, boxes, baskets.

You shoud be able to desig every bit, from the materials to the finer details. Texture, engravings, shape, weight, everything should bend to your desires.

Custom pieces of Lego that would add interest to the basic stock.

I'm thinking of an app that would take a 3D object and convert it into interlocking 2D slices (like SketchChair, but for all kinds of objects--I'm thinking specifically of those cardboard deer heads you can get from Urban Outfitters and other places). It would take a lot of the guesswork out of making complex forms!

Make your own funky shape of muffin-tins, ice-block molds, chocolate molds, cake tins, etc etc.

Nesting parts for the optimal use of sheet material could be automated by an app that works out the most space saving and cost effective solution. It could even put other peoples orders onto your spare bit of sheet so that everyone is sharing every bit of surface available with least waste/ offcuts possible.

I would like some shoes especially designed for the shape of my feet that fit perfectly. I'm not the only one who has hard to fit feet or one foot bigger than the other or can't find a shoe in my size with some kind of personality!

New option in designing products: Increased etching depth beyond the 3 current depths. This will increase design options enormously.

I'd love to customize a small notebook with a mix of blank, lined and graph paper, according to how much I use each of those types. I always have to choose just one!

It would be fantastic to make a custom play house for toddlers like the plastic ones they currently sell. Customize by adding the child's name and perhaps some of the things they like too.

I would love to have the ability to select from several longboard molds (plywood, bamboo/fiberglass/carbon fiber combination) and then upload my own design based on a template for a particular shape.
